Concerts are free and open to all.

Donations are graciously accepted at each concert.

Join us for the return of Music on the Hill! Our Opening Gala will feature stunning vocal music from opera to musical theater in addition to thrilling piano duets. Pianist Richard Jeric will present a recital filled with well-known staples of the repertoire including Beethoven’s “Pathétique” and “Moonlight” Sonatas as well as Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu and “Minute” Waltz. You may be surprised by how much of the music you know.

St. Joseph Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dr. Richard Fitzgerald

This concert is generously presented by William Caulin - in memory of wife Eileen Caulin and daughter Patricia Caulin

Composed of professional and volunteer musicians across the Columbus metropolitan area, the St. Joseph Cathedral Choir will present a moving program of sacred choral works in the serene beauty of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Dr. Richard Fitzgerald, Diocesan Director of Music and Director of Music and Organist for St. Joseph Cathedral, will lead the ensemble as they offer this pure and timeless music to our community.

Dr. Matthew Swihart, trumpet and Sarah Jeric, soprano

Matthew Swihart, Midwest native and Assistant Professor of Music at Nicholls State University in Louisiana, will present an array of music for trumpet, piano, and organ. Soprano Sarah Jeric will join him for a set of virtuosic arias for trumpet and voice that will delight everyone in attendance. Mark your calendars for this exhilarating performance.

Jacob Moyer, clarinet

A member of The President’s Own United States Marine Band, acclaimed clarinetist Jacob Moyer will conclude our season with a dazzling performance of music for clarinet and piano. He has performed across the United States and around the world, and The Washington Post has described his playing as “superlative” and “terrific.” Make sure to start your summer the right way by coming to this spectacular concert.
